Every year, our preservation team evaluates a selection of SSE’s 20,000+ variety collection by growing them out and adding more seeds to our inventory in the process. When a variety both passes our taste test and excels in the garden, it is offered in our catalog, for all to enjoy, along with a bit of its stewardship story.

Program Qualifications
To participate, retailers must:
Operate a brick-and-mortar retail location that is open and accessible to the general public.
Provide and maintain a valid tax identification number for the state in which they do business.
Buying groups and private membership clubs are not eligible to participate. Seed Savers Exchange reserves the right to approve or deny submitted applications.
