The wallpaper artwork was showcased on the 2026 Yearbook cover. Created by Seed Savers Exchange staff member Olivia Munnson, the watercolor paintings highlight the beautiful ‘Phebe Vinson Heirloom’ lima bean, donated to the Collection in 1987.

In April of that year, Phebe Vinson (or “Mrs. Jesse R. Vinson,” as she signed her name) wrote to Seed Savers Exchange to inquire whether her cherished lima bean variety—originally given to her by her mother, Mary—might find a permanent home. In her late 80s, and with no family members interested in continuing its stewardship, Phebe hoped the seed could live on through the Exchange.

Seed Savers Exchange accessioned this special variety as “lima 199,” and it has been listed in the Yearbook for many years.

Step one

For Windows Set: Right-click the saved file and choose “Set as desktop background.” Or go to Settings > Personalization > Background.

For Mac Set: Open System Settings > Wallpaper and then select the image. 

Mobile (Android/iOS)

Step one
Save Image: Long-press the image in your browser and then select “Download Image” or “Add to Photos.”

Step two
For Android Set: Go to Settings > Wallpaper > Photos, select the image, and tap “Set Wallpaper.”

For iOS Set: Go to Settings > Wallpaper > Add New Wallpaper, select the photo, and tap “Set.”
